Anyone else get bit by the boho bug this season? Or maybe you never fully recovered from it back in the day? (flashback to my bohemian midi skirts that I was obsessed with in junior high…why did I do that…)
If you haven’t caught on already, I am extremely bipolar when it comes to sticking with one style. Maybe it is linked to me being the most indecisive person around…I just can’t stick to one style! When I saw this floral boho dress on the New Arrivals page at Tilly’s, it spoke to my inner bohemian gypsy soul.
Even though it might not be my everyday style, it is so perfect for the beach, or like displayed in these photos…the mountains!
My mom, sister and I went up to Lake Arrowhead the other weekend to get away for a couple of hours. Lake Arrowhead is my happy place (thanks to Instagram, I found out some of you grew up there!); I’ve been visiting every single year since before I could even remember, and it will always hold such a special place in my heart. Whenever I go up there, everything stops and my worries subside. It’s so peaceful, and so incredibly gorgeous. I love it during every season. I also love scoping out my dream home across the lake every time I visit…one day, right? 😉
My sister and I took the opportunity to shoot some fun pictures while driving down the mountain on our way home when we found this section of road we could safely shoot in when cars were passing. My mom sort of freaked out when we first started (as displayed last night on my snapchat while I was editing these), but we ended up getting some cool shots.
Also, thank you SO much to those of you who interact with me on a daily basis. I know these posts are sometimes so off base (like today’s) and don’t really pertain to much about fashion, but I love that you guys truly take the time to read what I’m writing, and take even more time to email me about whatever comes to your mind! It means the world to me.
Speaking of emails…
I’d love it if you guys could email me pointers on how to use Lightroom. I just bought a new computer (FINALLY after 6 years of using my beautiful white laptop that I will forever miss RIP), so I got the program, but clearly don’t know what I’m doing. Some of these photos I edited I was like yesssss #pro and others I was like wtf how do I fix that???? SO. email me! Or send me snapchat videos of your favorite tip! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!
